About Kiravans Double Swivel, Floor & Carpet
We sell 2 versions of this swivel, please select the correct option in the dropdown. If you have a T6.1 or a T5/T6 with heated seats or seat belt sensors, we include an additional bag of wires and a special 'holey' bolt which you'll need when fitting your swivel. This is to facilitate the extra electrical wires found in your van. Please watch our detailed video in the photo gallery for more information.
How does it work? The swivel mechanism on a Kiravans swivel is very different to other swivels. It uses a cunning slide and swivel approach so you will need to open the side door to allow the full range of movement. The seat is held securely in position while driving by 4 x specially engineered locking bolts.
Is it safety tested? Our double seat swivel is fully tested and has passed all the requirements of TÜV Deutschland. This involved 'in-vehicle' pull testing and a SLED test in Germany. The TÜV certificate can be downloaded below. In the UK it has also passed seat belt anchorage safety tests conducted by STATUS (The Specialist Testing Facility at Manchester Met Uni) using a pull test on a specialist test rig to EC Directive 76/115/EEC as amended by 2005/41/EEC.

Includes Floor Plate & Carpet – The floor & carpet consists of a perfectly cut tin sheet & piece of carpet that fits inside the T5/T6 double seat box, making a big difference to your under-seat storage. Originally suggested by one of our customers, it covers the swivelling mechanism visible inside the seat base when you install a double seat swivel, preventing small items from getting trapped and also reducing rattles. To fit, simply place the tin sheet on the swivel, secure the seat on top of it, and then lay the carpet on top for a snug, rattle-free finish.

If you don't want to do this, we have a clever solution - the Kiravans single seat rear trim product. Add one of these and you won't need to make any adjustments to the existing trim.

- Kiravans Ultimate Seat swivel is designed AND manufactured right here in Yorkshire
- The swivel locks in place facing forward, but when reversed it remains free to move with your body
- Its compatible with heated seats, airbags & the Kiravans T5/T6 Double swivel
- Of course it is safety tested by VOSC to the relevant standards.
